jedit was just fine till today... i dunno what happened but it fails to start and freezes the splashscreen at about 1/4 of the loading progress bar. the only way to close it is using kill

4.1 Final Does load, but 4.2pre14 and pre 15 both exibit a freeze in th eediting window. You can do nothing but close JEdit, and NOT by the window controls, ONLY by the wrapper App.

jEdit 4.2 final has not been released.
