XML Matching Tag Hilight not working again (pre7 and xml2.0.4)

the XML plugin Matching Tag Hilight is not working again with html files. (jEdit pre 7 and xml v2.0.4)

it was working in pre6. i think this has been going on for the last several versions (of jEdit-pre and xml version). there's some kind of pattern here...

i'm just reporting bugs. i can wait till november.

Yeah, tag matching for 4.3pre

Yeah, tag matching for 4.3pre6 works with both XML 2.01 and 2.04, but 4.3pre7 doesn't seem to work with either.

4.3pre6 + XML 2.0x has a quirk where the tag matching doesn't work in the first buffer that's reloaded after running, but switching to another buffer then switching back restores the tag matching behaviour...

Oh well... the only change in 4.3pre7 that seems relevant to me is that the code I need to change to make scrollwheel behaviour match my system defaults has moved from "jEdit\org\gjt\sp\jedit\textarea\JEditTextArea.java" to "jEdit\org\gjt\sp\jedit\textarea\TextArea.java" anyway.

Think I'll stick to pre6 for now. Smiling

that tag matching is 'broken'.

well, at lease somebody say something. i thought i'm the only one with it. and with days and days without reply, i'm starting to get delutional. Smiling

if 4.3 final comes in november, i hope the tag-matchings will be fixed. its so weird not seing it work, i have to go back to 4.2

Want to also add that I have observed this and would like to see it resolved, as it is an extremely handy feature.

If you check out the XML plugin from subversion, it is fixed already.

I installed the SVN version 2 days ago and it still didn't work.
I had to go back to 4.3pre6
