What's best to use for XML formatting? Tried JTidy but it's causing line breaks

What is the best plugin for formatting XML files? I tried using JTidy but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to not put in a line break in between every line. TIA for any help.

In jtidy options, there's a wrap/indent voice. Here, in the box "wrap" you can even disable word wrapping. Is it what you were looking for?

No, that's not the problem. I turned wrapping off. The problem is JTidy for some reason is actually adding an extra line between all my lines. Very annoying. I can't seem to find the option to turn the extra line break off.

jtidy's concept of "beauty"

I see. I use it for html files, and it actually adds an extra line "somewhere". I think that's its concept of beauty... I haven't found a suitable option.
I also don't know it there's another beautifier plugin for jedit... you could try with the command line "html tidy", you can find it on the web, perhaps it is more up to date and has more options...
