Color code key-words?
Submitted by sigfreund on Monday, 17 September, 2007 - 22:09
I have a list of key-words I want colored and another list of API names I want a different color, would this warrant writing a plug-in, or is there a simpler way of doing this?

Keyword coloring is determined by edit modes

jEdit supports "Edit modes". The edit mode of the current buffer deteremines the coloring of the words in the buffer. You can learn about edit modes from the jEdit user guide (available from the Help menu), or:
http://www.jedit.org/users-guide/modes.html
for information about using edit modes, and:
http://www.jedit.org/users-guide/writing-modes-part.html
for information about writing edit modes (or customizing existing ones).

Is there some way I can have all of the key words LCD_Col1, LCD_Col2, ... , LCD_Col99 highlighted?

Thanks
