OK... that and a complete Update of my Plug-ins has gotten it down to 3 errors.. and both originate from the "org.gjt" package..

They center around the following:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.gjt.sp.jedit.textarea.JEditTextArea.getBuffer()Lorg/gjt/sp/jedit/Buffer;

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.gjt.sp.jedit.gui.DockableWindowManager.getTopDockingArea()Lorg/gjt/sp/jedit/gui/PanelWindowContainer;

Any pointers on getting rid of these errors is appreciated...

Some core components has been under relatively heavy development for the last pre-releases, witch also has to be concerned by plugins.

I've seen these messages, too - I think it was in 4.3pre15. But now in 4.3pre16 they are gone. You didn't mention the version of jEdit You use, so maybe an update to 4.3pre16 could be the solution. (You don't must install the docker plugin anymore as of 4.3pre16!)

Otherwise there could be an plugin witch is out of date.

Ok, I removed the Docker Plugin and that got rid of two more errors. Using 4.3pre16 One remaining on start up. Could you post some more of the errors. Need a little bit more context.

Also, as Robert mentioned, if you're not using 4.3pre16, you might try that.

Are these errors appearing at startup, and preventing jEdit from starting? or are they appearing in the ActivityLog, and preventing a specific action?

Lastly, which fix were you talking about?
