4.3pre17 forgets window position and size

I just updated my Windows XP jEdit from 4.3pre16 to 4.3pre17, and the new version doesn't remember its window size or position. I deleted my settings directory and let jEdit re-create it, but the problem persists. I assume that I've doing something wrong, but what?

I use two monitors for Windows. jEdit seems happy to remember size/position on Monitor #1, but reverts to default if its last position was on Monitor #2.

fixed bug

I guess it's related to the fix of bug #2609091 .

You could open a new bug at the SourceForge tracker. But generally, a dual monitor environment seems to be a difficult thing because of the many possible ways for graphics drivers and operating systems to handle this...

Hi Robert,

Interesting problem. I don't know if it would be easier to sense the Windows configuration or try to make one size fit all. Maybe sidestepping it entirely makes the most sense.

Can jEdit resize / reposition its main window after startup with a macro? If so, that might be my solution. When it comes up in the "wrong" position, at least I can see it and do something.
