Trying to use TextToolsComments in macro

I have created a macro that calls toogleRangeComments method from the TextToolsComments plugin if I have made a selection of code else i call toggleLineComments. When I execute this I get a "java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateException" exception, is there something i'm doing wrong ?

void smartComments(View view)
{
if (textArea.getSelectionCount() > 0)
{
TextToolsComments.toggleRangeComments(view);
}
else
{
TextToolsComments.toggleLineComments(view);
}
}
smartComments(view);

There seems to be a bug, that raises an exception only if the method is called via macro. But because the error occurs after the desired work is already done, You can suppress the message:

void smartComments(View view)
{
  try {
    if (textArea.getSelectionCount() > 0)
    {
      TextToolsComments.toggleRangeComments(view);
    }
    else
    {
      TextToolsComments.toggleLineComments(view);
    }
  } catch  (exception) {}
}
smartComments(view);

Thanks Robert for logging the bug ! Your suggested try catch to suppress the message worked.
