Buffer Selector buggy in latest version?

I've been using Buffer Selector for a while with no problems in version 4.1final, and just upgraded JEdit to version 4.3.1 using java 1.6.0_18.
Buffer Selector now spews out stuff like this:

etc...

It appears to mostly work, but sometimes it won't update the current file when I click in a different buffer etc. Am I missing something, or is this plugin no longer supported?

The Buffer Selector plugin seems to be out of date. Since buffer management has changed in jEdit 4.3 it's not surprising that it doesn't work well...

There is just one feature that I really miss from Buffer Selector. I tend to work on a lot of files at once (80-100) and have my screen split into two most of the time. Buffer Selector keeps a single list of files outside the splits, whereas Buffer Tabs duplicates the list for each split, which makes it very messy and takes a lot of room when you have a lot of files and multiple splits.

I wish Buffer Tabs would allow a single list, or that it could be floated instead of docked. Ah well, if wishes were fishes...

Yes, I use BufferList for some things, but for quickly switching between files, Buffer Selector was so much faster and more efficient for my workflow...

I guess there's no way to get rid of the hierarchical nature of BufferList and simply list the file paths?

So many ways of doing the same things, each with its pluses and minuses. Wasn't there a discussion a few years ago about combining the best features of all of these together?

The hierarchy cannot be turned off. But You can specify to always extend the tree...

Also, the Buffer Tabs plugin is acting wierd for me. It frequently stops listening to mouse clicks on the tabs. I have to split and unsplit the view to "wake it up". Any idea what's going on there?

I haven't such problems with BufferTabs. But I think this Plugin isn't aware of the new BufferSet feature yet ( http://www.jedit.org/users-guide/buffersets.html ). I think there will be problems when You are using other BufferSet scopes than Global.
