Hi I'm a new user of jEdit. Its wonderful. & Thanks for the clearcase plugin. It works great.

Few comments: Presently in the CheckIn.java
if(comment == null) setOption(0, OPTION_NO_COMMENT);
If you can update this to comment.equals("") or its equivalent
- not sure if both are the same - as I'm new to Java also.
Then this would address your : TODO how to add comment and get comment at checkin?
i.e., if we leave the comment field empty, then the checkout comment would be retained, during checkin.
or give an option for no comment - There is no way today to enable -nocomment option.

Another option to achieve what you wanted is :
> cleartool lsco will give the output as:
19-Oct.17:45 checkout version "" from /main/1 (unreserved)
"I am modifying this because... "

The second line onwards (till the end) is the comment. Comment could be multiple lines.

And another simple stuff, can you enable -reserved by default for checkout.
if checked out as unreserved by mistake could be a problem (and not otherwise).
