Sentence recognition is text mode?

Hello,

I realise that jEdit has shortcut keys for moving to the beginning and end of lines. Is there a similar way to move the caret to the beginning and end of a *sentence* in text mode? Is jEdit, or perhaps a plugin, capable of recognising sentences?

Thanks for the suggestion, TextObjects seems to be a very useful tool! However, I was asking about how to *move* the caret to the beginning and end of sentences, without selecting anything, is this possible?

Hi,
I don't know a tool that makes it possible out of the box. Maybe You could write a BeanShell macro that utilizes TextObjects to select the sentence and then sets the caret to the begin or end of the selection and resets the selection...

I thought about recording a macro, but there doesn't seem to be a command to move to the beginning or end of the selection.

And I don't know any Java or BeanShell, and don't know how to write a macro from scratch. I guess I just have to move to caret manually for now. Thanks, though, for your suggestions!
