Set window layout

I had just downloaded JEdit. I had seen in JEdit screenshot different layout for main window that include console, file manager and so on. How can I set my window layout? I must download a plugin? and wath plugin I must download? thanks to all

Not sure which screenshot you were referring to but to use the console, download the Console plugin

I'd suggest a visit to http://plugins.jedit.org/list.php for descriptions of available plugins.

Note not all plugins work with all versions of jedit so check the dependancies displayed on that page, or download using the inbuilt Plugin Manager.

You can arrange your window layout for 'dockable' plugins by opening the particular plugin and then right-clicking on the tab which will appear on the top/left/right or bottom border of the main Jedit window and then selecting where window is to be docked. See "Window docking" in the jedit help.

The "file manager" is displayed by choosing "File System Browser" from the utilities menu. It may dock itself as a tab to an edge of the jedit window - simply click on the tab to display.
