Use TextAutocomplete. "Similar to the jEdit's function 'Complete Word' but it's automatic, you don't need to press any key to invoke the list of completions."

Install TextAutocomplete
Plugins> Plugin Manager> Install (tab)> TextAutocomplete

OR

Download and compile from
http://jedit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jedit/plugins/TextAutocomplete/
http://jedit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jedit/plugins/ (list)

THEN

Options
Plugins> Plugin Options> Plugins> TextAutocomplete

AND

Plugins> TextAutocomplete> Show remembered words

No plugin. The integrated function is found under "Edit | Complete Word" and completes words found in the active buffer and in the active editmode.
