Make CodeBrowser work with VFS

When I open a ".c" file over a SFTP connection (using the FTP plug-in) CodeBrowser is unable to display the functions/variables.

If I open the same file on my local hard drive, it works.

May I suggest that you use CtagsSideKick instead of CodeBrowser? It does more or less the same thing (it also uses Ctags), but it's slightly more friendly and provides more options regarding the presentation of the tags.
... And, it can work with any files that you open in jEdit. It simply takes the contents of the current buffer from jEdit and parses it, it does not need to support VFS by itself.

Please take an updated version of CtagsSideKick

The version you get with the Plugin Manager does not work with VFS. Take an updated version here:

Code completion does not offer subfunctions or variables ?

Thanks a lot for those answers :
The sidekick-tree works fine but code completion only offers language specific tokens (like "struct" or "static") but not the functions defined in the source (.c) file.

Is that the expected behaviour ?
