I second Robert's suggestion: use the Code2HTML plugin.

I HTMLize the current jEdit buffer (containing syntax-highlighted source), save the resulting HTML to a .html file, and then open it in Word.

Then - and this is why I'm adding this "me too" comment - I paste (or rather, "paste special") as RTF into an existing text box in PowerPoint.

That is how I get syntax-highlighted source into PowerPoint: the "secret" appears to be the combination of (a) pasting into an existing text box and (b) pasting as RTF (which is why I use Word as an intermediary, because it copies to the clipboard as RTF).

All other combinations that I have tried using to paste into PowerPoint either lose some of the formatting (such as color) or all of the formatting.

P.S. In my opinion, Lucida Console looks better than Courier New for source listings.

the Code2HTML Plugin lets You save a html file which looks in a browser as in jEdit. I tried to copy the browser's view content to Word and it worked.
