Status bar time display problem

Hi,

I am new to the java environment and was trying out jedit. I have a question regarding the time in the status
bar. It displays the time in a different time zone (Pakistan time zone I believe). The Insert_Date macro
displays the date in PKT time zone and shows the same time on the status bar. It may be related to my JRE, but
am not sure.

How can I change this?

Thank you all. But the problem resolved itself. But I do not how. I am also using Netbeans IDE and I had written a simple java application that was using the SimpleDateFormat to display the current date and time. And it was giving me the same time zone (PKT - pakistan date time)... Anyways, thank you very much for responding.

If You are under windows, then be sure to check "automatically set winter and summer time" in the Windows dialog "Date and Time" (Time Zone tab).

Maybe the time zone can be set for java on the command line? I got no idea else.
