I/O error = missing jar ?

Hi ya,

I was install the spelling module and it timed out during the download, so I though I'd just try later as the server must be busy or something.

Next time I started jEdit ;
Conbsole
JEditCvs
SideKick
SQL
XML

didn't want to load because errorlist was missing.

Any ideas ? I'm trying to reinstall it now.

IO Error on plugin download

It can occassionally happen, due to congestion etc. If you still have problems, try using one of the mirror servers:

Plugin Manager-Download Options
"Update Mirror List" button then choose a server. Apply. OK

I set mine to Dublin. Since you're in the UK too, that might be a good choice.

Don't know why ErrorList failed, but you can either remove it in Plugin Manager and then choose to do a reinstall, or you can manually go and get it from

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jedit-plugins/ErrorList-1.3.2.zip

then unzip it and drop the ErrorList.jar into your jedit jar directory

normally

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\.jedit\jars

or equivalent on your system, then restart JEdit.
