Mac OS Plugin missing

Plugin Development
Hi!
I am new to jEdit and XML, and when launching the editor, I keep getting the following message: "Mac OS Plugin requires a newer version of Java (MRJ 99.0)."
I've been searching for some time now but without any success.
Can anyone help?

Upgrade to latest version

I found I had this problem, I have however upgraded to the latest release 4.2pre14. This seems to have solved this problem. This version seems to be much better in many other ways too.
