HTML Syntax Highlighting
Submitted by Anonymous on Tuesday, 30 March, 2004 - 04:54
Hi All,

Any can give me idea how to use the syntax highlighting for HTML or other in Jedit? I’m struggle finding how to use this feature.

I’m downloaded the jEdit 2.2.1 Syntax Package and I don’t know how to install this package.

Thanks in advance

Maybe you'd be satisfied with chosing another color for Markup Highlighting under Utilities - Global Options - Syntax Highlighting (it was set to grey in my jedit)

The jEdit syntax package provides an embedable editing component with syntax highlighting. It's useful if you're writing an application and want to have an embedded editor. If you want jEdit, the editor, download it from here: http://www.jedit.org/index.php?page=download.

If the jEdit syntax package is what you were actually looking for, see comments in the source code for usage examples.
