Blue line guide in pre8

In pre7 and pre8 I have a blue line going down the center of my editing window. It looks like a line guide but when I remove all line guides and make sure that line guides are off, it is still there. Any idea of how to turn this off? I have gotten used to it and have learned to ignore it, but it's strange that I can't get rid of it.

I think you must only unset "wrap guide" Check box in the "Text Area" option settings.

Under Utilities / Global Options... Click on Text Area, then uncheck Wrap guide checkbox.

Hi, if I reading you right then what you need to do is turn off the wrap margin. Either do this using the buffer options and set Wrap Margin to 0 or use global options -> Editing and set the Wrap Margin to 0. Downside? There is no word wrapping available.

I set word warp to 0 but that didn't change anything. The line is also now red for some reason. It had been blue.

Weird! It is now gone. It was a line guide but for some reason it was staying on even when I clicked to have it NOT on. I finally told it not to be on and then closed jEdit and restarted it, and now it's gone. Weird. I had tried that before but it stayed.
