Bracket matching matches for "()", "{}" and "[]", it should do the same for "<>" or please make it configurable. Bye, Dennis

Agree.

IMO it should be configured in the Edit Mode, and not limited to single or specific characters. I would like to be able to match words as well as brackets, and it would be nice to be able to specify these additional matches in the Edit Mode.

Here's another vote for the edit-mode-based "bracket matching" as described in sh0dan's post.

The XML mode does something like this already with start and end tags.

Having one for java, perl, php, and other langs would rock.

Perhaps the syntax package would be the place to add this feature?
