Executing java programs from jedit?

hi. Just started Jedit. I have used textpad earlier and in it i could launch my program directly from textpad. When i used the "run program" button in textpad a command prompt opened with the output of the program. How can i do that in textpad? Is it possible? I have seen the run button in the console but nothing happens.

i don't have a computer at home,but i need to execute a java program urgently,so is there any website where i can execute the program online.Help me PLEASE

See help for the Console plugin. You can either run command from the console, such as "java $c" to run the current class ("javac $f") to compile the current file, etc... or you could use Commandos (see Plugins > Console > Run Current Buffer...).
