Help With Configuring Editing Interface
Submitted by berzerk on Saturday, 9 October, 2004 - 00:51
I have looked all over for this and cannot find what I'm looking for or really what to ask for. In the screenshots section, Robert Fletcher's image, the editor does not have the "." at the end of every line and appears to have the ">>" at each tab indent. I would like to know how to configure these changes. Thanks.

In order to hide the "." at the end of each line.
Go to "Utilities->Global Options..."
Uncheck the option in "jEdit->Text Area->End of Line Markers:"

To View the ">>" for each tab please install "WhiteSpace" Plugin
http://community.jedit.org/?q=filestore/download/77
Unzip the contents and copy the WhiteSpace.jar into you'r plugins folder.

Restart jEdit Then. Select "Plugins->S-Z->WhiteSpace->Show Tabs"
Also Select "Plugins->S-Z->WhiteSpace->Leading Tabs".

I hope this helps.
