Inserting the current date when exiting ?
Submitted by Anonymous on Monday, 1 November, 2004 - 11:08
Is there any way to automatically insert the curent date in the text when exiting JEDIT, so the last update date is saved ?

Thanks

You might try the ActionHooks plugin and combine it with Insert Date macro ("Macros/Text/Insert Date" by default). Set it up in the "Plugins/Plugin Options..." dialog.

I am wondering why you want this when the OS,
both Windows and all UNIX like OSES, stamp the
file itself with the date last updated.
