Search Options

i was wondering if there was any way to control the options on the search menu. I always use Ctrl-F to pop up the menu and enter my search string and hit enter, only to find out that "Ignore Case" isn't set. Is there a way to get that set by default ?

Never mind - found it. in the properties file under \.jedit, there is this line search.ignoreCase.toggle=false i set it to true and restarted. viola!

Scratch that - it didn't work. Sometimes it comes up correctly, other times it reverts to not having ignoreCase selected.

Any idea if this is the right place to set the option ?

Try to use
CTRL + ,
CTRL + .
ALT + ,
ALT + .

Using this search, ignore case state is saved.

And add bug report or request for enhacement for search dialog
