How to create quick key for constant used phrase?
Submitted by Anonymous on Monday, 22 November, 2004 - 22:04
I am tired of to type "System.out.println".
How can I create my constant used phrases and easy to import?

Go to Prefs > Abbreviations Click on the "Expend Abbreviations w/ space bar" checkbox (at the very top) there already is a shortcut in there for you .. look in the "java" abbrev set. After you turn on the expanding of abbrevs and press ok, go into one of your java files, type sout and it will expand to System.out.println for you you can go into the abbrev preferences again and change the abbreviation into something else if you like. -steve
