Spell-checking C++ comment fields
Submitted by Anonymous on Thursday, 17 February, 2005 - 15:27
Does anyone know of a plug-in spell-checker that checks for language errors in C++ comment fields?

I am grateful for any help.

Spell check plugin

Have you tried the spell check plugin? I use it all the time for XML, Java, and Progress documents/programs. It appears to be a bit old, meaning that it does not support the dynamic loading API of jEdit 4.2, but it works nonetheless.

You'll need aspell (look on sourceforge.net) if you are going to use the spell check plugin.
