intellsense is somethiong like auto-completition of code in writing mode. For example, when I start to type <Table , editor will show me list of allowed tag starting to T, then Ta, then Tab and so on. when I press space then (after <table is written), editor will show me allowed tags fot Table tag. when i start writing for example H, editor shows only alloed tags for table tag startign with H.

hard to explain, its common term, try to find on google... if you know some kind of editors (like Visual studio, Dreamweaver, Delphi) they all use it

jEdit itself is "only" a texteditor with syntax highlighting and autoindentation. Other functionality like your "intellisense" is in plugins.

You definitely need phpparser, phpproject, xml and csseditor plugins.
