Fire up external application, one instance of jEdit

Hi all
two qustiones:

i use jEdit for HTML development and would like to fire up current document in browser - how to do it (which plugin does it)?

how to avoid opening second instance of jEdit when i open some document with dblclick (application shortcut as associated document) and have yet one instance of jEdit opened in background

Open file in existing view of jEdit

At the commandline the option "-reuseview" has to be used.

Witch command is used after a doubleclick on a file may depend on the operating system and assotiation method...
If You don't find the associated command, give a bit more info..

First, please see forum topic "Launch a file from jEdit" (02.02.2006).

In the macro "Run_Script.bsh" You can add/edit a section for each editmode and specify a commandline for the system console (application with path, if nessecary).

The last lines of runScript() I have modified for me, so that for any not configured editmode the windows default application for the file's extension is launched:

//Macros.error(view, "The current file does not appear to be a script.");
execScript("default application", path);
