Using jEdit
Hello,
is there a plugin that shows all contents from an open buffer that matches to a search-string?
I want all non-matching content immediately hidden, so that a seach performs like a filter.
It would be very usefull to show immediately for example all special tags in a html-file and so on...

Try these options to handle search results (not to hide other lines):

1. HyperSearch:
Check "HyperSearch" in the search diaog box. All search results will be displayed in a window. You can jump to every Match by click on the result.
These results also can be transferred in a buffer via macro "\Misc\HyperSearch_Results_to_Buffer.bsh"

2. The highlight plugin highlights all text that matches one or more Regular Expressions.
