Console plugin - change classpath default for javac

Using jEdit
I am using JEdit on Windows XP platform.

When I use the javac command with the console plugin it always defaults to "$Classpath; folder of java source code".

I would prefer to use the classpath environment variable setting, which it will do if I delete the default entry. However I don't want to have to do this each time I run the command.

Is there any way I can amend this default setting?

1. Extract "javac.xml" from console.jar!/console/commands
2. In "javac.xml" edit Tag 'ENTRY LABEL="Class path" VARNAME="classpath" EVAL="getBufferClassPath(buffer)"' to 'ENTRY LABEL="Class path" VARNAME="classpath"'
3. Exit jedit
4a. Copy back the xml-file to the archive OR
4b. Copy it with a different name to jedit's settings directory under \console\commando\ to create a new "commando". In this way Your changes survive update's of console plugin.
5. Restart jedit

That works just fine, especially the tip to create a new commando.
