Hello Jopy. I had the same problem, and still don't have a way of installing jedit. The workaround I found changes the status of the program to installed, so you can still use dpkg, apt-get etc.

To do this, I edited /var/lib/dpkg/status. Find the section that refers to jedit, and change the line "Status" to say something like "Status: install ok installed"

If you then do apt-get update, you should find that the system no longer tries to install/remove jedit, and you can continue as before.

This will probably leave some cruft around on your machine, but for me it's worth it to be able to carry on installing programs (albeit without using jedit).
