ActionHooks plugin extension
Submitted by stellari on Tuesday, 15 August, 2006 - 21:37
I would like to use ActionHook plugin to save the open buffers upon jEdit loosing focus (i.e. the user switching to a different window).

I'm a novice in using jEdit and I don't know much aboiut Java.

Any suggestion, or better help, would be greatly appreciated.

ActionHooks doesn't have this

ActionHooks doesn't have this kind of action... I think that you could add a macro such that, upon focus lost, raises a buffer save.
I suggest that you better rely on the autosave feature, that saves the file on the hard disk as #filename#save#, than having jedit automatically saving the file for you
