Open Buffers not Remembered in 4.3pre7

After upgrading from pre6 to pre7, the perspective.xml file that stores the state of jEdit's open buffers is no longer written to disk when I quit, and thus whenever I run jEdit I see the buffers that were open when I last quit pre6. My preferences are the same between the two versions.

Did anyone else run into this?

No.
Delete the whole settings directory or at least the jars-cache, settings-backup and all folders and files You don't need.

Hi,

I tried deleting those two directories, and it still happened--then I tried deleting the whole .jedit directory, and the state of open files still wasn't saved with 4.3pre7.
This is on OS X, both with the .app and the Java installer versions.

Sorry for the Question, but: After deleting the settings directory, Did You choose the matching Checkboxes in GlobalOptions->General? I found a matching item at the bug tracker, but it was old and closed. If You think it's a bug, post it to the bugtracker.
