Wanted: macro to set buffer to explict folding

Hi, I'm new to jedit macros; I usually rely on "record macro" to get me started, but this time it doesn't work. I'd like a macro that I can shortcut to that sets a specific (or all) open buffers to explicit folding mode (w/o all the mouse clicks). A search of community macros did not reveal anything of recognizable help. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get started? Thanks.

macro does not permanently change fold mode

Hi,
Alas, the fact that the status bar does not show the folding mode is 
important.  Saving a buffer whose fold method has been reset by the 
macro resets it to value before the macro.  So, still looking for the 
magic jedit incantations...

Many thanks! It does what I need and can be tweaked. In 4.3pre4 the macro also does not update the status bar nor the "explicit" text field in the Utilities->Buffer Options->Folding Mode.
