jEdit Remembering Folding configurations for files opened
Submitted by thamiral on Sunday, 13 May, 2007 - 17:52
Dear all,

If a file is reopened in jEdit, the cursor is usually in the same position as where it was when the file was opened last.

Is there a way to get folding configurations for each file to also be stored so that when the file is reopened, all the segments of the file that were folded away, remain folded away?

Thanks,

Sincerely,

Taha

Auto Collapse fold

I know no method to do exactly what you want, my suggestion is to use the auto collapse fold macro (you can download it easily via the macro manager plugin) that lets you choose what folders should be open or closed. You have to call this macro every time you want this feature, but you can also use the action hooks plugin to call it every time a file is open.
