Where are Favorites stored?

I'm moving my settings to a new computer and would like to manually edit my Favorites so they work on the new machine. I found the XML files for the Project Viewer plug-in, but can't figure out where Favorites are saved. One post I found said they were in the settings folder in a file called "properties", but I have no such file (using 4.3pre9). Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

You definitely must have the file "properties" in Your settings directory. To be sure to search the right directory, look at "Utilities->Troubleshooting->Activity Log" and search the line that begins with: "[message] jEdit: Settings directory is ". This Line tells You the settings directoy that is really in use.

Each favorite takes two lines like:
vfs.favorite.0.type=1
vfs.favorite.0=G\:\\Geo\\Projekte

I actually had three lines in mine: type, label, and path.
The lines were spread throughout the properties file, so a little hard to edit. The Find feature is your friend here.
I found the largest index value in mine, added one to it, and that worked as the index for my new manual addition.
Colons and backslashes in the path should be escaped with a backslash. There may be more that need escaping, but those are the ones I found.
Files get a type of 0, while folders get a type of 1.
Spaces are allowed.
