SuperAbbrevs import file format

I am trying to import in abbreviations using the "Import from file" feature of SuperAbbrevs but I can't get it to work. Can anyone give some direction for this and how the import file should be laid out/formatted?

jEdit version 4.3pre9.
SuperAbbrevs version 0.25

SuperAbbrevs Import/Export

Hi Troy Nini,
The import/export feature is a quick and dirty hack submitted by a user. The file format is a java HashTable written as an object stream to the file. The purpose was that users should be able to select abbreviations from a mode and export them to a file so that others would be able to import them in to an selected mode. I'm sorry but I don't know of any places where you can download abbreviations for SuperAbbrevs on the net, except some ruby on rails abbreviations.

Essentially, you need to have someone or yourself export them from the SuperAbbrevs options pane. The file that is created can then be imported.
