external editor parameters of code composer
Submitted by bseiz on Wednesday, 23 September, 2009 - 07:19
Hello,

i want to use jEdit as an external editor of Code Composer 3.1. I have tried a lot of things but nothing works. Especially i want to set up a line parameter which tells jEdit to go to a specific line.

Here you will find a screenshot of the configuration dialog of Code Composer for external editors:

For general questions You should ask someone who knows Code Composer. Did You get jEdit startet from within Code Composer?

For jEdit You should:
- enable "Apply arguments after the filename"
- write "+line:" into the textfield "Open file at a specific line"

Maybe You have to append a Code Composer internal variable for the line number. I think You can get this info by clicking at the "Hilfe" button in the dialog of Your screenshot.
