File System Browser can`t not work with windows 7

when using the File System Browser , I found it could not list the any file or directories;
I tried many times,but it still cant`t use it.
I dont`t know why ,please help!
my system is "windows 7",using "jedit 4.3 stable version"

There are two different ways to open a file:
- File -> Open
- Utilities -> File System Browser

Have You problems in both cases? What do the dialogs show? Have You ever seen it working before (which versions)?

My System is windows 7 ,Jdk 1.6 update 17 and the editor is Jedit 4.3 stable version.
I tried the two ways you suggested ,but just saw loading... in the left(Directories List).
It may be the problems between the windows 7 System and the JVM . Perhaps it is a bug of the JVM.
Because under Windows XP, everything goes very well!

Could You please open a ticket at the jEdit Bug Tracker and attach the activity.log file which You can find in Your user profile under \.jEdit (copy it after jEdit is closed!).
