bug or feature? No copy&paste in Quicknotepad

(jEdit 4.5 running on Windows 7)

Copy & Paste (using Control-C and Control-V) does not work from and to Quicknotepad. Control-C also doesn't work on text selected at the "Tips of the Day". However, it works fine between edit pane.

Is this a bug, or is this feature deliberately not implemented?

I had set

GlobalOptions / Appearance / Swing Look&Feel

to "CDE/Motiv". With this Look&Feel, Control-V doesn't paste, so it *is* a feature, not a bug (Control-V works fine in "Windows" or "Nimbus" Look&Feel, for instance).

Just out of curiosity: I wonder how to find out, which keys are assigned to copy and paste in CDE/Motiv look&feel....

Hi,
to get a list of all assigned shortcuts goto "Macros -> Misc -> Display Shortcuts".

For menu items You see the shortcuts in the menu, too.

Here are a two more observations on this subject:

* The problem occurs not only in Quicknotepad, but also in th "Find" dialogue.

* Pasting works when I use Shift-Insert. It does not work when I use Control-V.

Looks more like a bug, not a feature...
