Open in Desktop
Submitted by Arionyx on Friday, 22 June, 2012 - 15:11
I was wondering if I could find out where I need to go to configure the 'Open in Desktop' command in the FSB pane. I'm currently working with a scripting language, and for some reason, include commands won't work correctly when I run the file within jEdit, yet they work fine when I run the file from Explorer.

Hi,
I can't find the 'Open in Desktop' command, so there would be nothing to configure, did You? But there are several way to smooth Your way a bit:

1. If You're on Windows, You could try the last two macros from this site of Community Downloads.

2. Change the Misc\run_script.bsh macro to sweet Your needs.

3. Find out what doesn't work inside jEdit Eye-wink
I guess You run the script in the system console? Maybe Your include command doesn't find the include file because You haven't give an absolute path and the script's directory isn't Console's working directory? Then possibly the ChangeDirectory.bsh Beanshell script from this page could help You.
