mixed language
Submitted by Anonymous on Monday, 22 December, 2003 - 00:26
I can type mixed english and cyrillic characters in jedit ( 4.2pre7) and it looks fine. When saved and reloaded the cyrillic characters are all displated as question marks.
Any way around this ?

Save and load the files in a correct encoding.
(If you have no idea, choose UTF-8)
Is this too dumb a question,

i have set my default encoding to Windows 1251 and its the way to go for loading/saving files.
as i need to type in cyrillic too, i have to run jedit from a terminal with locale LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 ...
