login not being remembered - jEdit Community

I logged in yesterday and checked the box to be remembered. When I came back to the site today it didn't remember me. Is the cookie being correctly created / used?

I'm on IE6.

PS: When go to the site before being logged in the main page is screwy. The right column is not at the top of the page, etc.

i have the same problem and have set the community.jedit.org site to my security-zone, now it works.

try ie6.1sp2 it works better.

Couldn't be, the problem was an internal bug that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the browser. Maybe you set up IE to remember the password and autologin or something similar.
Anyways, IE is the greates shit ever. So do me a favour and don't recommand that crappy shit. I have to barf if I read such stupid shit. Eye-wink

Anyways, I fixed it and it works now.

No auto-login seems a cookie-expiration problem

I looked at the Cookie and the expiration-date is set to yesterday.. this might be a problem Smiling

Any news about this topic?

The cookie is not set to "yesterday" but to "yesterday-next-year" Eye-wink

Seems to happen with any browser/platform I've been using as well.

Same thing happens with Mozilla 1.5 and Firebird 0.7 (WinXP).
