Modifying the prefix shortcut Ctrl-E

Hello all,

started using jEdit more intensively and I would like to have jEdit as much as possible the same shortcuts as Netbeans. I can modify shortcuts in jEdit, but I don't know how to change Ctrl-E in jEdit.
In jEdit Ctrl-E represents a prefix for a shortcut. Entering it in the "Specify shortcut" dialog disables the OK-button.

My question is: is it possible to modify Ctrl-E, and if so: how ?

FYI: Ctrl-E in Netbeans means deleteLine.

I know this it a bit late, but better late then never. Besides it might help someone looking for the answer.

The problem with the error is that it's too unspecific. Ctrl-E is used as a prefix for a bunch of commands. Since it's a prefix you can't assign it to one command. You have to get rid of everything that uses it as a prefix. The easiest way to do that is click the "Primay shortcut" heading and remove all the assignments where C + e exists. Once they're gone you can assign Ctrl-E to deleteLine or whatever you want.
