Thank you very much for your reply.

I changed the jEdit code to relevent applet code.
and i created the update jar also successfully.

The applet is running succesfully..But jEdit is not dispalyed in the html page.

Now i am facing the following problem.

I want to create a method and its perfactly replace to the existing main() code.

for replacing this main() method, i am facing two problems..

In start() mettod ( in applet code), i can replace the exaact code in the main method. but i am facing two issues
1. i want to pass the same arguments that passed in the main method. how we pass the command line arguments other than main() method?
2. main method is static method. but applet start method we cann't create static start mehtod. any solution for this?
