ProjectViewer double click stopped working
Submitted by acicovic on Thursday, 17 November, 2005 - 13:30
Hi there.

I am using jEdit 4.2 final on a Windows box. Today, I updated the ProjectViewer plugin to the latest version. Now, double clicking on a file in the ProjectViewer no longer opens it in the editor. Drag and drop works though.

I tried re-installing it, but it still has the same problem.

Any ideas? I am stuck....

For anyone suspecting conflict with another plugin, I provide a list of the other plugins I use:

Uninstalling SQL plugin fixed it

Hi - I unistalled the SQL plugin and that fixed my problem. Also, I did see errors on the SQL plugin in the activity log.
projectviewer 2.1.1 double-click

A double-click on a file in projectviewer used to open the file (or close it if it were open). It now does nothing. The only way to open a file from projectviewer is right-click and open with your desired coding.

I tried deleting .jedit/projectviewer/config.properties, but that didn't work.

I removed the SQL plugin and it solved the problem.

Alternatively, is there any safe way to downgrade?

Seems due to conflict with another plugin

Hi,
If you look at the activity log, you might be able to find which plugin gives issues (look at bug https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1368246&group_id=588&atid=565475)
In my case, just disabling the plugin in Plugin Manager solved it (but I was lucky not to use a lot the plugin that was causing the error).
About the downgrade, i would be interested to know which version would be ok.
