Newbie ? on JCompiler

Using jEdit
Guys/Gals:

I am very new to JEdit. I am using the tool to work with JDK1.5. I have install the JCompile pulgin. When I try to compile the source code, I receive the following exception involving the BeanShell Error Dialog box.

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: console.Console.setShell(Lconsole/Shell;)V
at jcompiler.JCompilerPlugin.executeCommand(JCompilerPlugin.java:106)
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source)


Is there something I have not done?

Thank you for any words of advice.

JCompiler seems to be broken.

JCompiler seems to be broken. You might try the older Console version 4.1.2.. Though, it probably won't work either as at least I get NullPointerExceptions from the JCompiler (ClassPath getter method seems to be broken too). Good luck..

*J F C!* JCompiler works with Console 4.1.2! You just have to fill in the "Java Core" field "Location of source code for Java 2 Platform core classes:" (e.g. C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_07\src.zip)
