PDF viewer
Submitted by jrobinss on Wednesday, 9 December, 2009 - 16:44
Hi all,

alongside my comments request, I'm also trying to open HTML or PDF files in jEdit, especially PDF.

I found LilyPondTool that opens PDF in a pop-up, but I couldn't just find a simple PDF plug-in... is there one?

For HTML, the aim would be to open and eventually annotate HTML files in wysiwyg GUI (not seeing the HTML code). Would there be any advice for this?

InfoViewer Plugin
by Robert Schwenn on Wed, 09/12/2009 - 23:33
Regarding HTML rendering:
The InfoViewer Plugin can be configured to show the active buffer with it's built-in browser whenever the plugin's dockable window is open. Also, the InfoViewer Plugin provides an action to show the active buffer in the configured browser, which can be an external one.

Regarding PDF rendering:
I don't think that there is an Adobe Reader in jEdit Eye-wink. Why do You want to open PDF's in jEdit?
